An upset frend on Facebook sent a message to my inbox last week. He claimed that MLM Online Marketing doesn’t work, he wasn’t getting any traffic and ZERO leads for his Network Marketing opportunity. I went over to his Facebook Profile to have a peak.
That’s where I saw the culprit… his page was littered with Farmville.
I’ve mentioned first impressions before. You only get one opportunity to show that you are a professional and display how you can help lead prospects to success. On such giant social networking sites, such as Facebook, others always see what you are doing. Say I am one of the Million people each week that are trying to research a work from home opportunity and I came across his page, what would be my first impression? How apt would I be to begin throwing my hard earned cash into his MLM “opportunity”? Would he be the one I choose to lead me to Online MLM success? No way.
Farmville is the fastest growing social game in history, with 11 million daily users in just over 2 months. We do love to waste our time don’t we? Farmville makes its money by selling virtual items and I was SHOCKED to see these online game applications had generated 2 Billion dollars in sales last year! So not only are millions spending their time on something that adds nothing to their asset column, but they’re also investing Billions of dollars in this Time Sucker. Wow.
People will join you and your MLM business due to the fact that you can present them with knowledge, value, and be a great leader. If I notice my upline wasting hours on Farmville , how on earth is he going help me achieve the success I want? How can this Internet Time Waster possibly know how to help me? New Networkers are looking for Mentors that can educate them what they need to do to build a successful MLM home business. When you Google Toby & Layla, you won’t see Farms pop up… only value and training.
I said to my friend, how long does it take to milk all your animals? How long does it take to tend to your crops? After hours of work on your Farm, how much do you get paid?
